CHILDREN'S FIRST AID
When an emergency involves our children, as mothers and fathers we must be prepared to act correctly and urgently. First aid for children will be useful to attend to wounds, cuts, blows, choking, among other common accidents in children.
There are many recommendations for the prevention of accidents in the home, but children play, run and explore, and these activities can increase the risk of suffering injuries that sometimes we cannot prevent.
This is why domestic accidents in children are a reality that distresses us and although sometimes we cannot avoid them, Expat Kids in Eindhoven brings you this tool to act in case of an emergency.
You will learn how to act in case of:
- Burn, cuts, scrapes, bleeds, nose bleeds
- Cardiac arrest: Resuscitation and use of AED
- Loss of consciousness
- Choking
- Drowning
- Head- neck- and spinal injuries
- Poisoning (ingested poisons, stings and bites, CO poisoning)
- Severe allergic reactions, febrile convulsions, trouble breathing
- Bone-muscle and tendon injuries (broken bones, sprains, strains, torn ligaments)
- Split lip, chipped and/or broken teeth
- Foreign objects in nose or ear, particle(s) in the eye
We will have two options:
1. Online with practical training
- 6 hours e-learning + 4 hours practical training
- Including official Red Cross certificate (IKK proof).
- Course fee: €105 per participant (VAT included)
